RWA (Real World Assets)

Tokenize real-world assets on the Neurai blockchain to enable ownership, tracking, and trading of physical items.

Overview

Neurai's Asset system allows you to create, manage, and transfer tokenized representations of real-world assets on-chain. This enables traceability, proof of ownership, and fractional ownership of physical items.

What are Real World Assets?

Real World Assets (RWA) are physical or tangible assets that can be tokenized on the blockchain:

  • Physical Equipment: IoT devices, machinery, vehicles
  • Real Estate: Property ownership, land titles
  • Commodities: Precious metals, energy credits
  • Supply Chain Items: Products with verifiable origin and authenticity
  • Intellectual Property: Patents, licenses, certificates

Creating Assets

Assets are created by burning XNA coins. This deflationary mechanism ensures sustainable network economics.

Asset Types

  1. Unique Assets: One-of-a-kind tokens (NFTs)
  2. Quantity Assets: Multiple units of the same asset type
  3. Reissuable Assets: Assets that can have additional units created
  4. Restricted Assets: Assets with transfer restrictions

Benefits

Traceability

Track the complete lifecycle of an asset from creation to current ownership, including all transfers and modifications.

Proof of Ownership

Cryptographic proof of asset ownership secured by the blockchain, eliminating the need for centralized registries.

Fractional Ownership

Divide valuable assets into smaller units, enabling shared ownership and increased liquidity.

Interoperability

Assets can interact with smart contracts, DePIN systems, and other blockchain infrastructure.

Use Cases

IoT Device Identity

Create unique identifiers for IoT devices to establish digital identity and track device history.

Supply Chain Management

Tokenize products to verify authenticity, track origin, and monitor movement through the supply chain.

Equipment Leasing

Tokenize machinery and equipment to enable peer-to-peer leasing with automated payments.

Certificate Verification

Issue verifiable certificates, diplomas, or credentials as on-chain assets.

Integration with IoT

Assets on Neurai can be directly linked to IoT devices:

  • NeuraID: Unique identifiers with hierarchical security
  • BGrid Integration: Location verification and geofencing
  • Automated Transactions: Devices can autonomously manage their asset status

Technical Details

Assets are native to the Neurai blockchain and don't require smart contracts, making them more efficient and cost-effective than token standards on other platforms.

Creating an Asset

# Create a unique asset
neurai-cli issue "ASSET_NAME" 1 "Description" "ipfs_hash" 0

# Create a quantity asset
neurai-cli issue "ASSET_NAME" 1000 "Description" "ipfs_hash" 1

Transferring an Asset

neurai-cli transfer "ASSET_NAME" qty "recipient_address"

Best Practices

  1. Use Descriptive Names: Choose clear, meaningful asset names
  2. Include Metadata: Add comprehensive descriptions and IPFS links
  3. Plan Reissuability: Decide if you need to create more units later
  4. Consider Privacy: Use sub-assets for sensitive information
  5. Document Ownership: Keep records of asset creation and transfers
