Assets
Neurai inherits and enhances the original asset layer from Ravencoin. This system allows for the creation of unique and secure tokens directly on Layer 1 of the blockchain (without the need for complex smart contracts like in Ethereum), making it ideal for representing Real World Assets (RWA).
Below is a simple explanation of the available asset types and how they work.
What is an Asset?
Imagine an Asset as a unique digital token that you create and control. Unlike a standard cryptocurrency, you decide:
- The Name: (e.g.,
MY_COMPANY) - The Quantity: (e.g., 1,000,000 tokens)
- Divisibility: (Whether it can be split into decimals or not)
- Reissuability: (Whether more can be issued in the future)
To create an asset, you must "burn" (destroy) a specific amount of XNA coins. This prevents spam on the network.
Asset Types
The system is structured hierarchically, similar to folders on your computer.
1. Main Asset
This is the root of everything. It is unique across the entire blockchain. No one else can have an asset with the same name.
- Symbol:
COMPANY - Usage: Represents your brand, project, company, or main identity.
- Requirement: Burn XNA to create it.
- Power: Whoever holds the "Admin Token" of this asset controls everything attached to it.
2. Sub-Assets
These are assets that live inside the main asset. Only the owner of the main asset can create them.
- Symbol:
COMPANY/DEPARTMENTorCOMPANY/PRODUCT_A - Usage: Ideal for organizing categories. For example, if
COMPANYis a game developer,COMPANY/GAME1would be a sub-asset. - Advantage: Inherits the trust of the main brand.
3. Unique Assets (NFTs)
These are assets that are unique and unrepeatable. Only ONE of each exists, and they cannot be divided (you cannot send 0.5 of a unique asset).
- Symbol:
COMPANY#SERIAL_NUMBERorCOMPANY#ITEM_NAME - Usage:
- NFTs: Digital art, game items.
- RWA: Representing ownership of a car, a house, or a specific IoT device.
- Identity: A unique membership card.
- Creation: Created from a Main Asset or Sub-asset. Upon creation, it "moves" to the user's wallet and becomes an indivisible token.
4. Admin Assets
These are the "keys" to the car. When you create an asset (like COMPANY), the network automatically gives you a special token called COMPANY!.
- Symbol: Ends in
!(e.g.,COMPANY!) - Function:
- Allows you to issue more of the asset (if reissuable).
- Allows you to create sub-assets.
- Allows you to create dividends (pay everyone holding your token).
- Security: Never send this token to anyone unless you want to transfer total control of your project!
5. Messaging/Channel Assets
These allow for decentralized communication.
- Symbol: Ends in
~(e.g.,COMPANY~NEWS) - Usage: The owner of this token can send messages to the network that are verifiable. It's like having your own Twitter channel but on the blockchain.
6. Qualifier/Restricted Assets
These are advanced tools for legal compliance (KYC/AML).
- Symbol: Starts with
#or$(e.g.,#KYC_LEVEL1) - Usage: They allow tagging wallet addresses. For example, you can configure your
COMPANYasset so that it can only be sent to addresses holding the#KYC_APPROVEDtoken. - RWA Utility: Fundamental for tokenized stocks or regulated real estate where not just anyone can be an owner.
Visual Summary
| Type | Example | Analogy |
|---|---|---|
| Main Asset | NEURAI | The domain name (.com) |
| Sub-Asset | NEURAI/IOT | A folder within the domain |
| Unique Asset | NEURAI#ID_001 | A unique file inside the folder (NFT) |
| Admin Token | NEURAI! | The administrator password |
| Channel | NEURAI~MSG | The newsletter |
Why is it ideal for IoT and RWA?
In Neurai, we use this structure to give identity to things:
- You create
MANUFACTURER(Main Asset). - You create
MANUFACTURER/MODEL_X(Sub-Asset). - Each physical device leaving the factory receives
MANUFACTURER#SERIAL_NUMBER_123(Unique Asset).
In this way, the device has an unforgeable identity on the blockchain that proves its origin and authenticity.
